Redistricting is a once-in-a-decade process that is inextricably linked to reproductive freedom advocacy. We will be learning about what redistricting is, why it matters, and how to take action. Redistricting is when legislators re-draw our voting maps once every 10 years. If our voting districts are not drawn well, communities can be split up and marginalized people will be disempowered. We will take action by submitting our own maps to the Independent Redistricting Commission and by lobbying our legislators.
